UEFA CUP 2008
Thursday, June 19, 2008 Germany will face Portugal in the UEFA Cup 2008 quarterfinals. That’s football, the real football.
But did anyone see the confrontation during the last match between Germany’s coach Joachim Low and Austria’s coach Josef Hickersberger? They were arguing on the sidelines and a referee sent both off the field. I have never seen such a thing. I wonder what they argued about. Either way they both have been punished with a one-game ban, meaning assistant Hans-Dieter Flick will take on the responsibility of coach during Thursday’s match.
Good luck guys!

Visitors from Texas
Jim and Ramona McKeown, of Waco, Tex., dined with us on June 11, 2008 and subsequently wrote about their dining experience on their blog.
Although blogging will never replace our guestbook, which is displayed at the front of the restaurant, it’s always good to hear who visited us and how we are doing. So please feel free to leave your comments here.
Jim and Ramona, thanks for visiting us. Please come back soon.
Strawberry Napoleons
Our most popular dessert, the Strawberry Napoleon, has become so popular with our guests that last Saturday we sold out of our 7 Napoleons within the first five minutes of opening. They are rather difficult to make and therefore we only make a limited quantity each night. You may also call us at least one day ahead of time to reserve them. They are puff pastry, filled with pastry cream, fresh strawberries and covered with sweet oven-roasted almonds.
